
Reverend CB Stewart is the Minister for Justice Ministries at the Greenpoint Reformed Church and is a Chaplain Resident at NYU Lutheran Medical Center. His responsibilities include operating and providing pastoral care to participants of the Hunger Program and connecting to the local community for broader justice movements. In 2016 Rev. CB Stewart was appointed as a member of Mayor de Blasio’s Commission on Gender Equity. He is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary.

Samira Rajan is the Chief Executive Officer of Brooklyn Cooperative Federal Credit Union. She began at the Credit Union as an unpaid intern in 2001 and proceeded to advance along with the non-profit grew to Loan Officer, then chief Operating Officer and in 2008 ascended to her current leadership position. She has overseen the Credit Union growth to two branches in Bedford-Stuyvesant and Bushwick, $20 million in Assets, and 12 staff. Affiliate Grow Brooklyn provides free tax preparation for hundreds of Brooklyn low income residents annually.

Kate Yourke is a Williamsburg resident and active community member.Kate is a passionate arts educator and an avid supporter of equality, sustainability, environmental concerns, and other issues — particularly those impacting North Brooklyn. She generously donates her time to join and support rallies advocating against community injustices. In the past few years, with support from Council members Antonio Reynoso and Stephen Levin, Kate launched STEAM WORKS, an integration of science, technology, engineering, art and math to encourage creativity and ingenuity among young minds. Kate has served on many committees including the Community Education Council of District 14
