PS 34’s Grand Tradition Celebrates Our Grand Old Flag

Flag Day 2015 01

PS 34 was on the front lines of celebrating Flag Day when National Flag Day was declared by an Act of Congress during the Truman administration.  This marked the 66th year PS 34 celebrated the day with and for their neighborhood.   The streets were filled with red, white, and blue, not to mention a marching band. Assemblyman Joe Lentol, Council Member Stephen Levin, and Superintendant Alicja Winnicki were in attendance again.
