May 14th marked the thirteenth time Graham Avenue BID‘s Executive Director, Betty Cooney, organized a glorious street festival that spanned Graham Avenue from Broadway to Boerum Street. Many of the retailers participated and extended their shops into the avenue. If you were hungry your appetite could partake in an international selection of favorite street food fare from zeppoles to jerk chicken! On the main stage talented locals entertained as did the carnival games. The BK Story Voyager, St. Nicks Alliance’s literacy motivation in bus form, drew the attention of book hungry kids and their parents.

Showcasing Graham Avenue’s businesses is the Graham Avenue BID’s goal of each year’s Fiesta.
“We want the people to come out and have fun and shop, and that supports our businesses,” said Betty Cooney.
