Town Square’s Go Green! Brooklyn Festival has become an annual staple of community life in Williamsburg/Greenpoint since it sprung to life in 2008. Once a year, Go Green brings exhibitors to McCarren Park to teach about local sustainability initiatives, while having other attractions like food, art, and music.

Some highlights from this year’s Go Green: Ben and Jerry’s was giving out free ice cream and post card reminders to vote, you could get info on tree identification, learn about the making the Newton Creek cleaner, and how to fight for the Bushwick Inlet Park completion.
