Annual Candlelight Vigil on Oct. 8: Commemorates victims of domestic violence

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. In its second decade, a candlelight vigil starts at two points and walks through the streets of Williamsburg to converge at the 90^th Precinct in order to give voice and support to surviving victims of domestic violence and to remember those victims whose lives ended due to domestic violence.  On Tuesday, October 8^th at 5:30 supporters will choose to meet at Continental Army Plaza (S 4^th & Roebling Streets) or at 140 Johnson Street and follow in procession to the 90^th Precinct (211 Union Avenue)
