Filmore Place has been possessed by the Halloween spirit. Along both sides of the block, between Driggs Avenue and Havemeyer you can take a walk down memory lane of beloved businesses of North Brooklyn’s past. The loss of Tops is still a stake through many a heart. Recent losses of Rosemary’s Greenpoint Tavern and Mugs Ale House are also represented. Once upon a time there was a Kings Pharmacy, but then Duane Reade moved directly across it Bedford.
