This is the sixth year for the annual Bocce for Bus tournament that raises operating funds for the Swinging Sixties Senior Bus. This year’s goal was to raise $10K and they exceeded it.

The event originated in 2017 and is organized by the Conselyea Street Block Association (CSBA). In order to maintain the much-needed service of providing a ride for mobility challenged seniors to the Swinging Sixties Older Adult Center.
Eleven local businesses/organizations formed eight teams and faced off rolling balls on the beautiful bocce courts of Domino Park. These teams were: Crest Hardware, The Meat Hook, The Alemeda Club/An Honest Living, Two Trees Management/Domino Park/North Brooklyn Neighbors, Basik, Variety Coffee Roasters, and Bitesize Pediatric Dentistry.

The winning team of this year’s tournament was Crest Hardware, making this their second victory in a row and their fourth victory overall. The Meat Hook took second place this year, but won the tournament in 2018.
