Lights On Afterschool is an organized nationwide event that celebrates afterschool. It was launched in October 2000 and its mission is to draw attention to the many ways afterschool programs support students by offering them opportunities to learn new things such as: science, community service, arts, movement, and new skills. The message of this annual event is clear: kids need quality afterschool.
St. Nicks Alliance Afterschool participates in this event each year. This year they hosted several activities at their school sites.
