Santa Visits Southside

There are many Santas in NYC Council District 33. The community donated over 1000 toys and volunteers helped organize them for giving. NYC Council Member Lincoln Restler’s office distributed hundreds of toys yesterday to South Williamsburg families living in New York City Housing Authority’s:  Jonathan Williams Plaza, Berry S 9th, Taylor Wythe, and Independence.

Community volunteers helped collect and sort toys the previous weekend and organized over 1,000 toys to be delivered to children in need in the community.  Restler’s office continued to collect toys through December 20.
