Train & Earn offers comprehensive job training and employment services, along with necessary support to find a permanent job, obtain high school equivalency, or access postsecondary education and training. This service is for NYC residents aged 16–24 who aren’t attending school and meet income and other eligibility requirements.
On July 11, St. Nicks Alliance’s Workforce Development Center held a graduation celebration for their Train & Earn students participating during the 2023/2024 school year. One of the highlights was an appearance from NYS Assembly Member Emily Gallagher.
“It was such an honor to join St. Nicks Alliance’s graduation ceremony yesterday for their Young Adult Train and Earn Program. St. Nicks Alliance offers case management, mentorship, training, job placement, retention services, and connections to networking opportunities, leadership development, and career development support. They’re deeply invested in empowering and supporting participants on their path to success. Congratulations to all the incredible graduates! I can’t wait to see what you do next.” said Gallagher.
St. Nicks Alliance Train and Earn participants can choose career training in construction, healthcare, and technology.
