Armistice Day 2024

Memorial Gore holds a monument to local soldiers that died fighting WWI.  In 2017, which marked the 100th year after America entered that war, Guido and Tish Cianciotta started planning an event to honor Armistice Day that year.  Since November 11, 2017 a gathering at this site has happened at 11 a.m., except for in 2020 due to COVID.

This year members of the community joined, Girl Scouts of the USA Troop #2996, Boy Scouts of America Troop 996, NYS Assembly Member Emily Gallagher, and St. Nicks Alliance who organized the event.
