“In New York, we do not turn our backs on seniors. We honor them. We invest in them. And we make sure they get the support and dignity they deserve. That’s exactly we’re doing at St. Nicks Alliance and across the state,” stated Hochul.

Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso was also there and he saluted the Conselyea Street Block Association, who established the center.  “This community knows how to take care of its own.  These are community people who want to do right by their community.” He went on to thank the governor for visiting the seniors and Williamsburg, “Williamsburg is a special place. You can see the diversity here. We have folks from the Polish community, the Italian community, the African American community, the Puerto Rican and Dominican communities, the Chinese community, and for generations after generations they have called this community home.”

It was Bingo day for the seniors. Soon, the governor moved on to call out bingo numbers, and within a short time, “BINGO” was called!
