The Teacher Toy Drive of 2014 gathered up hundreds of new and unwrapped toys. This annual event ensures that hundreds of kids in the neighborhoods of Williamsburg and Bushwick will have a merrier Christmas.  The generosity from School Districts 14 and 32 meant it took a weekend to distribute the toys. Tommy Torres Assistant Principal of the Grand Street Campus high schools helped guide a crew of volunteers from Progress High School Student Government, area Teachers, NYCHA Resident Association Presidents, and NYPD Explorers. Local elected officials also helped participate in spreading the Holiday happiness.
