North Brooklyn was a bit more glamorous the last Friday night this past January. The Williamsburg Community Center Afterschool Program presented their 1st Annual Winter Extravaganza that featured a 5 category Fashion show along with dance routines from the WCC Steppers and a recitation of “These Eyes of Mine”. Models, from grades K – 6th, brought attitude and flair to outfits of casual wear, sportswear, nightwear, formal wear, and mommy and me, as they advanced down the catwalk. All performers were part of the WCC Afterschool Program. Williamsburg Community Center is one of 2 new cornerstone programs sponsored by St. Nicks Alliance and provides a full range of services for all members of the community.
