Cooper Park Community Center Gets some Lights and Camera Action via HBO

“Take 1” HBO films “Rock & Roll” show outside Cooper Park

Recently, HBO productions saw Cooper Park Community Center and its surrounding neighborhood’s star potential and utilized it as a location for their new upcoming TV show Rock& Roll. Tom Whidden, the Assistant Director of Filming Locations, whose resume includes the films Spiderman and Noah, gave a tour of the movie set to Cooper Park’s after-school participants and handed out some prizes to boot.
