A Friendly Game and Rematch!

It’s North Brooklyn Community Center vs. North Brooklyn Community Center! But the important thing is that it’s all in FUN!!

On August 4th a baseball game between Cooper Park Community Center and Williamsburg Community Center was a highlight of the 90th Precinct Community Center’s National Night Out. The victory went to … “Cooper Park took the win today against Williamsburg Community Center and we are currently accepting all challenges, far and wide. As a team, we are defending our title, which we all know will definitely remain in Cooper,” said Frederick Adutu, St. Nicks Alliance Cornerstone Director of the Cooper Park Community Center.

Williamsburg Community Center made a bid for a rematch and on August 26th they played ball once again.  This time the winner was … Cooper Park again!! “Cooper Park believes firmly in rematches, as we are not afraid to defend our title (in a friendly and fun manner). I would definitely like to give recognition to both Glenn [Branch] and Jonee [Billy] for doing a terrific job at Williamsburg Community Center. They are doing some wonderful things. Special thanks to Tommy Torres for putting together another amazing event, in which the kids cannot thank him enough,” said Fred Adutu.
