Great food, some special speakers explaining new tech ideas, and an update on what the Graham Avenue BID had been doing through the year were part of the Graham Avenue BID’s Annual Dinner. In addition they saluted the Property Owner and Business Person of the Year and bestowed a Borough President Citation to the 90th Precinct to honor their work. Ms. Cooney also acknowledged those not present, as this award went to the entire 90th Precinct, “Due to the Pope’s visit Detective Juan Roman our other Community Affairs officer was not able to join us … all these fine men in blue work under the dedicated command of Mark DiPaolo who was recently promoted.”
A surprise award from the International Children’s Parade was given that night to Betty Cooney, Executive Director of the Graham Avenue BID.
