Mixing up the Media with BwCC

6^th and 7^th graders in St. Nicks Alliance’s after-school program created abstract paintings using mixed media.  After starting with line drawings they then colored in some spaces with oil pastels, followed that up with the “wet-on-wet” watercolor technique to create a wash of color over the pastels and learned about “wax-resist” technique. The multi-talented Tiffany Lin of St. Nicks Alliance’s Youth and Education helped to guide the students.
