The weekend of November 7th and 8th was a fun and info filled one for those looking to learn about children’s development and education. Town Square organized SchoolFest/BabyFest on the Saturday and the 2nd Annual NYC PTA Expo on Sunday. Both events were held at the Brooklyn Expo Center at 72 Noble Street.

SchoolFest once again proved to be  a one‐of‐a‐kind school fair for North Brooklyn students & parents. It was chockfull of informative workshops from Joyce Szuflita of NY School Help and representatives from public schools, private schools, nursery schools, and service providers who offered the opportunity to learn about educational and enrichment choices in the neighborhood. St. Nicks Alliance, BK Story Voyager, and Small World Daycare joined the Boyscouts, Two Boots Pizza, WillyPoint Kids, and many others who exhibited.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams was the PTA Expo’s keynote speaker. The event offered many workshops on topics that ranged from fundraising to game theory.  More than 170 schools were to have participated.
