School Settlement was awarded a trip to Prospect Park’s ice skating rink from the Department of Youth & Community Development (DYCD) in recognition of the great work they do. Twenty kids and staff took part in this prize and were offered free hot chocolate all day. “The kids and I had a great day and I was proud that the city recognized our great/hard work here,” said Rick Martinez, Program Director of School Settlement Association.
