St John’s Hosts Forum
Pastor Jason Tabor of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church served as moderator of: Forum on Public Housing. Forum was organized by Councilman Antonio Reynoso and Senator Dilan after a delegation of residents went to Albany to seek relief from horrendous conditions that plague public housing. Evelyn Cruz representing Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez advocated for improvements to neighborhood public housing. Residents representing Cooper Park Houses, Williamsburg and Bushwick-Hylan Houses also participated.
