On Saturday, June 18th, the friends and workers of Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition, more commonly known as BARC, gathered at Oosten’s Rooftop Penthouse in South Williamsburg for an evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuves. BARC is a nonprofit organization located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and it has been an integral part of the community for 29 years. BARC provides food, shelter, and medical attention for abandoned animals and aims to find them loving, forever homes. On the swanky rooftop of the illustrious Oosten building fellow animal lovers ate, drank, and made merry with all proceeds from the event going to help BARC accomplish their mission. The delightful actress, singer, and author Bernadette Peters, who has been associated with B.A.R.C. for 17 years through her work with Broadway Barks, was the special guest.
