PS 132’s 12th Kite Festival

Many children got their first chance to fly a kite, although the boy here looks like an old pro.

Beautiful blue skies, and the breeze was just right brought out the crowd for this fun family event hosted by PS 132. The event had been originally scheduled for the week before, but heavy rains in the forecast forced the organizers to postpone until the following week.

In addition to kite flying there was food and arts and crafts, and a bouncy castle. PS 132’s Kite Festival received support from Assemblyman Lentol and the NYS Dept. of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
