Town Square’s Halloween Parade wasn’t scared of the weather forecast, which said strong winds and heavy rain would befall the afternoon. Instead perhaps promenade of creatures scared off the elements to maintain only a gloomy overcast with the occasional breeze. Adults also got into the spirit and dressed up along with their kids. One family dressed up in a Wonderland theme: mom was Alice, baby, was the Cheshire Cat, and dad was the Mad Hatter. Passersby along either side of Manhattan Avenue stopped and smiled as the creature caravan passed by keeping time to a spooky soundtrack.
