events, and educational programs, etc. to the North Brooklyn community.  It will also be the new home to two veteran community organizations: Peoples Firehouse Inc. (PFI) and Neighbors Allied for Good Growth (NAG), giving them a fresh environment from where they would continue their advocation for housing issues and environmental rights.

When September 17th rolls around TASTE will roll out along the East River Park. This event is a sophisticated funhouse for the taste buds. This block party type fundraiser for The Firehouse NBCC is in its 7th year of bringing the community together.  Goers will purchase a book of tickets with which they can redeem tasty menu samplings and sips from local eateries.
