Every year the Grand Street Business Improvement District (BID) hosts a local Restaurant Week in the summer and the winter. The third Annual Summer Restaurant Week ended the last Sunday in August with resulting in lots of happy customers. The news also came out to cover it as there was over twenty-one press mentions, including “Gothamist” and “The Skint”.
What makes Grand Street Restaurant Week desirable and different than the bigger NYC Restaurant Week is that the restaurants set the prices making this restaurant week affordable, community oriented and fun! The 2-course lunch specials range from $9-15 and 3-course dinner specials range from $12-30. The list of past participating Restaurant’s and their menus can be found here.
This Summer, Grand Street Restaurant Week returned with a new look and a bunch of new restaurants (Wafa’s Express, Lolita Grand, Ammazza Caffe, and Thip Osha) in addition to the local favorites (Bahia, Masha and the Bear, Ryujin and many more!). The Restaurant Lineup offered exciting specials for diners to taste innovative global cuisines.
The Grand Street Restaurant Week also had a Restaurant Week Instagram Contest where one lucky contestant will win $50 to a Grand Street Restaurant of their choice!
Didn’t make it to Summer Restaurant Week? No worries! The Grand Street BID hosts the Winter Restaurant Week in February 2018.
