Hurricane Relief Tuition Reduction

Queen of the Rosary Catholic Academy, a co-ed Catholic elementary school that serves children nursery age through eighth-grade in Williamsburg, has been raising supplies for Hurricane relief and wanted to do something more. To help Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands hurricane victims who have recently relocated to New York City, they will reduce tuition.  The reduction will take effect immediately and will apply to the current school year.

$750 will be the tuition this year for one student displaced by the hurricanes, $1450 for two displaced siblings, and $2000 for three displaced siblings. The school is also in discussion with the diocese to find additional money to apply to the students’ tuition for next school year. Any fundraising that exceeds the school’s annual need will be allocated to support the tuition of future years and help the families’ relocation costs.

Due to the incredible reduction in the tuition cost the school requests some form of documentation that shows the students were victims of Maria and/or Irma.

If you are interested in receiving this tuition reduction, contact the school by phone or in person. Queen of the Rosary Catholic Academy is located at 11 Catherine Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11211 Ph. 718-388-7992
