Art exhibit honors Black History Month

The Museo de Los Sures celebrated day one of Black History Month with its exhibit “More Than Chains: An Artistic Journey through Black History”. Artists showing their work include: JD Baez, Mystique Washington, Kayla Ciara, Canvas Killer, JosiesBoy, Brian Branch, Arya Ruharya, and Robin Hughes.  This exhibit ended on February 26th.  On March 1 from 6 p.m.–11 p.m. Museo de Los Sures will hold an opening for their next show #HerStory, in honor of Women’s History Month.

 

The Museo de Los Sures is located at 120 South 1st Street.  Hours of operation vary.
