The North Brooklyn Coalition Against Family Violence is one of the primary providers of services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in the North Brooklyn area. The organization hosts an annual rally in light of April’s role as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The rally’s purpose is to honor the experiences and pain of survivors of sexual assault in our community. It allows survivors, attendees, providers, policymakers, and law enforcement the opportunity to unite as one and join together to offer support to survivors and spread awareness of the perpetual harm that sexual violence has produced within our community. The rally serves as a call for action and healing.
