School Fest once again provided a wonderful opportunity for parents to learn what educational opportunities are out there for their children.  A wide selection of public and private schools tabled and provided information, in addition to organizations like the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brooklyn Public Library, Daycare centers, sports and nature organizations.

Franklin Pizza, Le Gamin and District 14 families donated an abundance of food to the alfresco community potluck, which brought a dining element for the first time to School Fest along with cultural edible diversity ranging from Polish pierogi to Jamaican jerk chicken. The stage was also outdoors and provided family entertainment from Hopalong Andrew and his band.
