A day of service for the Hudson River and its tributaries (and New York Harbor). Wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, and a face mask, work gloves, and hand sanitizer. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with proper adult supervision.

Public Garden/Park Tending
Leonard Library (81 Devoe St.), May 1st 11:00 a.m.– 3:00 p.m.
Join in a help the Leonard Library create a beautiful outdoor reading room! They need volunteers to help with evening out the ground and digging flower beds, planting, and making and hanging birdfeeders. This event will be held exclusively outdoors. Please wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines. They will have some garden tools, but bring your own if you have them.
