During the month of April the Stop and Shop location on 64-66 Myrtle Avenue participated in the company’s Community Bag with the Giving Tag program. Each time a shopper purchases the $2.50 shopping bag, $1 was donated to St. Nicks Alliance.
This program was set up as a win-win: to make it easy for shoppers to give back to their local community while supporting the environment.
Bag sales during the month of April were so popular that they had to reorder bags in the middle of the month. When the final sales for April were tallied a total of $378 was donated to St. Nicks Alliance.
