
St. Nicks Alliance celebrates 46 years of community building in North Brooklyn at its in-person and virtual annual awards benefit on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Guests will enjoy spectacular views of Brooklyn and the Manhattan skyline on the 8th floor of 25 Kent Avenue. This year’s theme, “Emerging Together, Stronger,” reflects the extraordinary efforts of the St. Nicks Alliance team in helping North Brooklyn and individuals recover from the pandemic. Also it acknowledges the community’s amazing resilience in the face of unprecedented challenges.
The benefit will highlight St. Nicks Alliance’s accomplishments via fabulous client transformative stories in the areas of workforce development, affordable housing, elder care, and youth development.
Jeanine Ramirez, the award-winning journalist and TV anchor whose reporting has covered New York City for more than two decades will serve as this event’s emcee. Among her many honors, Mrs. Ramirez served as one of the Grand Marshals in the National Puerto Rican Day Parade on Fifth Avenue. She has received awards from the National Hispanic Media Coalition, New York Press Club, City & State, El Diario/La Prensa, and has been a five-time Emmy Award nominee. Her work has been officially recognized by elected officials, organized labor, and community groups. A native of Brooklyn, Jeanine majored in communications both at Brooklyn Technical High School and at Fordham University. She is now the founder of Jeanine Ramirez Media Consulting LLC and writing her first book.
