Nearby July Fourth Fireworks Viewpoints 2022

3 of Macy’s Fireworks Barges will be positioned north of Transmitter Park with public viewing at Newtown Barge, Transmitter, and Marsha P. Johnson parks.

For those who are a fan of sky-born pyrotechnics get on your marks. Macy’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks will be viewable in North Brooklyn. According to 311 they will begin around 9:25 p.m. and last 30 minutes. Three of the five fireworks barges are positioned along the East River in north North Brooklyn; the other two are further north in Queens.

Although there are other parks in the area along the East River, Domino Park and Bushwick Inlet Park are not recommended viewing (due to obstacles or being closed to the public). Also some of the public viewing locations will be closed when crowd capacity is reached. If this happens, spectators will be redirected to additional open access points. Macy’s states that access points, viewing locations, and transportation are subject to change.
