On November 10, the announcement came that on November 14 ferry service would return to 10 India Street. After a year and a half of delays due to a pier problem, NYC Ferry is now active at Greenpoint Landing. Many commuters were skeptical, as they remember the inconsistency of ferry service around its shutdown in May.
