Holiday Trains at Jennings Hall

Jennings Hall Seniors delight in watching the Santa Express take its trip around the snowy ski town.

For the past several years a polar express of sorts arrives in the lobby of Jennings Hall.  It is quite a process to set up the village and the train tracks.  Michael Rochford, executive director of St. Nicks Alliance and Rolando Guzman, deputy director of St. Nicks Alliance’s Community preservation are model train enthusiasts and setting up the trains each year is a labor of love.

Residents of Jennings Hall (260 Powers Street) enjoy watching the trains make their trip.  Also for two dates the train display is open to the public with an added hot cocoa incentive.  January 8 from 1 p.m.–3 p.m. is the remaining date for the public to view the trains.
