For the month of February, the Grand Street BID is participating in Small Business Sweetie Campaign. This will be the third time this BID will join 20+ NYC community-based organizations to encourage support of local businesses, which translates to the following actions: shop local; call direct for delivery; leave a positive online review; give a shout out on social media #SmallBusinessSweetie.
The Grand Street BID will host Crafts and Cocktails valentine making on February 8 from 6 p.m.–8 p.m. at The Starlight Tavern, 596 Grand Street. A previous valentine making event was held on February 5 at Blinky’s Bar.
“Delivering valentines made by loyal customers to small business owners is undeniably sweet. Seeing the smiles hit their faces as they realize how beloved they are to our community is so joyful,” said Erin Piscopink, Executive Director of the Grand Street BID.
As encouragement for spreading the love to businesses, the Grand Street BID is holding a raffle for a chance to win a $50 Gift Card. To enter: (1) write a Google Review for a favorite business in the Grand Street BID and DM a screenshot to @grandstreetbid on their social media platforms and/or (2) attend a Crafts and Cocktails events and write a Valentine’s Day Card dedicated to a business you love in the BID. Submissions close February 28 with a winner being announced shortly after.
