Anna Gangone passed away on Christmas Eve 2024. She was ninety-eight years old and the wife of the late Nicola Gangone, mother of John Gangone and Vincent Gangone, mother-in-Law of Lorraine Gangone and Carmela Gangone, grandmother of Gabriella Gangone, Nicholas Gangone, Annalisa Gangone, Vincent Gangone, and Gianna Gangone, and the sister of Pietrina Morena.
Her funeral was held on December 28 at St. Francis of Paola Church. Recently she was and will be acknowledged at all three churches of Divine Mercy Parish. On January 26, Lucia Marconi and family sponsored a memorial gift of Blessed Mother Candles at St. Cecilia’s, January 31 at 9 a.m. Anna Gangone will be remembered by Rosa Martello, and on February 2 at 10:45 a.m. she will be among the recently deceased that St. Nicholas Church will pray for.

I’m sorry to read of Anna’s passing. When I was young and a new mother, she helped me with my son Bryan. Bryan was colic and I was so tired. I grew up on her block and she knew my family all my life. May she rest peacefully.
