Major League Baseball has their All-Stars, but so do the home teams of Williamsburg! The Williamsburg Sports League held their All-Star Weekend Celebration from July 10th– July 12th. Around 100 players from 5 divisions in the league participated in all-star games. The leagues’ sponsors were also honored during the weekend celebration to thank them for their contribution and support. Those receiving this recognition were: Antonio Reynoso (Councilman 34th District), Mr. and Mrs. David Doboz (community leaders and St. Nick Alliance board members), Freddy Garcia (90th Pct. Council), Aaron McCann (owner of Williamsburg Pizza), Ozzie Torres (Torres & Associates) , Jose Rodriguez (Sazon Perez Inc.), and Yvonne Nunez (Eddie Jr.’s Sports Bar).
