When Starbucks came into Williamsburg it made many of the old guard residents and indy coffee house proprietors want to take a stiff drink. Now they can do just that at the 2nd Starbucks that landed in Williamsburg (North 7th between Bedford Avenue and Berry), because this location now serves wine. This also makes it the hippest Starbucks in NYC due to this being the first of the New York City franchises to serve alcohol.
The nearby bars have nothing to get nervous about as this java joint jumping into their territory. This Starbucks begins serving wine and beer at 4 p.m. and then they close shop at 9 p.m.
Just a note although there is a wine list, the beer list given out only in verbal form.
