18 months was about the gestation term for the idea of BK Story Voyager to take physical form in the outside world and make its debut on November 9th at the St. Nicks Alliance 40th Anniversary Celebration. This literacy immersion delivery system started as a brainstorm idea at a Community Board 1 meeting, grew into a project to be voted on for District 34’s Participatory Budgeting ballot in 2014, was selected to be funded, and then the nuts and bolts of the plan literally came into play when the bus was built.

Now this can’t miss vision in purple filled with literacy stimulation is readying itself for January 2016 when it will begin its route to area schools with afterschool programs supported by St. Nicks Alliance.
