Guido Cianciotta, Frank Citera, and Tony Napoli have a happy reunion.

A parade and a day to honor our Veterans are wonderful things, but the rest of the days can be a bit of a trial for our veterans when trying to get their benefits.  For more than 20 years Tony Napoli, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, has been helping veterans.  He began the mission to help his brothers in arms by counseling alcoholic veterans toward recovery.  Early on in this pursuit he discovered that many veterans weren’t receiving the benefits that they were due.

Napoli dug in and became well versed in the veterans’ disability system.  As an advocate for the vets, he helps groups and individuals. He is regularly invited to senior and community centers to give presentations that inform his audience on what they are entitled to and how to obtain those benefits.  On November 12th he shared his knowledge with the seniors of the Swinging Sixties Center at 211 Ainslie.
