It was a white Christmas in Williamsburg when community Santas brought toys to NYCHA’s Williamsburg Houses and Cooper Park Houses. Also in attendance were Grand Street students and teachers, BuildOn volunteers, NYCHA resident associations, Cornerstone programs, NYPD officers Liz Roncal, Ciara Sandoval Zumba, and Ozzie Torres, the Lions Club, Brian Gotlieb, Assemblywoman Maritza Davila and her staff Paula Melendez, Naomi Rivera, Leslie Torres-Alvatorre, District Leader Tommy Torres. Many thanks went to the sponsors and volunteers that spread holiday joy and spirit.
