For over 20 years, the Giglio Boys Club has opened their courtyard to Santa so he can give toys for the girls and boys of the neighborhood. This year was no different, even with the overnight snowfall.

Every December you’ll see a line of parents and kids waiting to get their turn to visit Santa. He is prepared with many bags filled with toys, supplied via the Giglio Boys Club. This event is also a reunion of sorts for the Italian American community for those who still live in the neighborhood and for those who have moved away. Some of FDNY Ladder Company 146 paid a visit to Santa, as some of the firemen are members of the club.
