Having fun in the UPS truck!

5th Annual Touch A Truck helps fuel a love of reading

2017’s Touch-A-Truck brought a vehicle fest to Leonard Street. The sun came out and so did more children and parents than ever before!

Thanks to UPS, Waste Management, Knights Auto Care Center, National Grid, FDNY Engine 229/Ladder 146, conEdison, and Metropolitan Garden Design for bringing their trucks for the kids to touch. Also on hand were a bouncy castles, many art projects, face painting and regular family Zumba sessions led by Danielle from Hosh Yoga.  The event was sponsored by Bank of America, UPS, Waste Management, ExxonMobile,  McDonalds, Panera Bread, Borah Goldstein, Kohls, and Broadway Stages. All the proceeds from ticket sales go to help fund the BK Story Voyager’s operating costs so it can continue its journey to inspire North Brooklyn’s children love of books and to improve literacy.
