It is with great sadness that the family of Rose Marie Ciorciari announces her passing on August 31, 2018, at the age of 89 years old. A native of Brooklyn, Rose was raised by her aunt and uncle Frances and Joseph Beatrice on the north side of Williamsburg. In 1951, Rose married Alessio (Al) Ciorciari, who passed away on February 26, 2000.
Rose Marie will be lovingly remembered by her children Mary Ciorciari, Alessio Ciorciari, Joseph (Wendie) Ciorciari, and Francis (Melissa) Ciorciari; adoring grandchildren Erin Rose (Michael Saretsky) McAuliff, Corey Ciorciari, William Ciorciari, Casey, Jake Ciorciari, and Andrew Ciorciari; and her great-grandchildren. Rose Marie enjoyed her family, playing BINGO, singing along to Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra, eating a good chocolate bar, and spending time with her best friend Bunny. Rose will be remembered for her devotion to her family, community, and husband Al, the love of her life, as well as making the world’s best eggplant parmigiana
