BK Story Voyager delivers books to PS 380 students
The BK Story Voyager was virtually (book Santa) Wipro’s sleigh on December 14th. Between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. 800 books were given out to PS 380 students thanks to Designit®, a Wipro company, who supplied the books via First Book. The BK Story Voyager and PS 380 teachers selected the gifted books based on the students’ curriculum. A classroom visited the BK Story Voyager every ten minutes for each student to be given their books. When they returned to their classroom, one of the books was read to them by a member of the Designit® team or a character from the book. The BK Story Voyager also received a surplus of books for their permanent library and future events.
