Grand Street BID businesses once again participated in the annual Grand Street Gives Back Holiday Food Drive. During the month of December, participating businesses have been collecting packaged unexpired food at their locations. These donations will go to the food pantry at St. John the Evangelist Church.
If you are reading this before December 31st you can drop off a food donation of a undamaged, unexpired canned or packaged items to the list of businesses found here: http://grandstreetbk.org/?p=7819. If you are reading this after December 31st, and you’d still like to make a donation you can do so directly to the food pantry at St. John the Evangelist Church (195 Maujer St.) during office hours (Tuesday to Friday 10-1); while the pantry is open (Friday 12-3); or Sunday mornings (8am-12pm).
