If you happened upon Kent Avenue this Father’s Day morning from South 10th to North 9th you saw North Brooklyn’s fleetest of foot running the Brooklyn Mile. This was the fourth outing for this run that previously ran in August. Brooklyn Running Co. produces the race and the proceeds go to benefit Girls on the Run NYC, a non-profit that inspires girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind.
