Once again the Farmers Market on Cook St. off Graham Avenue is open for business. This 100% independently run farmers market is the brainchild of the Graham Avenue BID who saw a need to bring farm fresh food to the community. Veteran vendors Hostetler’s Produce, Froehlich Farms, and La Baraja Farm are back to offer the freshest produce, Amish baked goods (carrot cake, pies, and authentic Pennsylvania whoopie pies), eggs, honey, etc.

The market is open Saturdays throughout October from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but it’s best to get there early. In addition to the farmers there are food demos, and other scheduled events like a D.J. and appearance from the BK Story Voyager, etc. during this season. In addition to cash the market accepts: EBT/SNAP, Nutrition Coupons, Health Bucks, & WIC. Graham Avenue BID Exec. Dir., Betty Cooney says, “Enjoy your staycation at our Graham Avenue farmers market. The farmers have been asking for you!”
It’s the perfect time to for peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, zucchini, and melons! The aromatics (garlic, onions, and herbs) are also abundant here and will season this season in the healthiest way.
